A result of a student project involving the design of a ligature for his typeface Lubalin Graph, this video is an experimental documentation of the iterative process.

The left panel projects light onto a stack of tracing paper and tile-printed posters, the center panel contains an image sequence of paste up image and text on a 18" × 24" cutting board similar to one that Lubalin would have worked on, the right panel displays a time lapse video of me pasting and removing elements from the cutting board.
